Driver Theory Test Centres

The centre is located towards the south end of Church Street, around 30m from the Main Street junction. The site has a purple-fronted building, and is sandwiched between ‘Susan’s Beauty Salon’, and ‘Norma’s Hair Studio’.

The centre is situated between the APA Charity Shop and T&N solicitors on Connaught Street.

The test centre sits next door to ‘The Breadski Brothers’ food store.

On entering the business centre, please turn left towards the first row of units. The test venue is located on the far corner of this area, next door to the ‘Health & Nutrition’ office, and DMH Hairdressers.

Ring of Kerry Hotel is located just off New Street. Please enter via the main Hotel building, which is clearly signposted on arrival to the site.

The centre is within a roadside building located towards the end of John Street.

Please use the building entrance where Focal Point Opticians and the Café Lounge are situated. On entry, please head up to the first floor.

The test centre resides in a white building with black doors, and sits opposite to Norio’s Restaurant.

The test building is identifiable by a large ‘Breffni’ logo located above its entrance.

The test centre façade has been painted brown. If approaching from the south end of the town (i.e., if travelling by train/using the station car park), you’ll notice a large, sky-blue building just prior to the test site. If arriving from the north (i.e., via the number 51 service), you’ll pass the ‘Laser & Beauty Clinic’ just before you reach the venue.

The site is located within the Station House Hotel. Please enter through the glass-panelled doors at the front of the hotel, and report to Reception.

The testing venue is located on the first floor of the Ulster Bank building. For reference, the bank has a blue-fronted façade and is sandwiched between the ‘Power & Co’ home decorating shop, and the John O’Gorman menswear clothing store.

On arriving onto Alfred Street, please note that the test centre is a white-bricked building, located in between ‘Quay Designs Interiors’ and ‘Stylish Stitch’ clothes alteration store.

Drogheda Theory Test Centre is located in the ‘Office Corner’ building, which, as previously referenced, is located where Dyer Street and Peter Street converge. Bernard English Jewellers sits on the ground floor of the property.

Please be aware that Google Maps guidance instructs theory test examinees to access the test centre from the back of La Touche House (building in which the test venue resides). This is incorrect, as all test candidates should report to the front of the building on arrival (entering underneath the large ‘La Touche House’ sign). The building is identifiable by its large, glass-fronted entrance facing towards George’s Dock.

The testing space is located on the third floor of the shopping centre, in Units 307 & 308.

On entering Quayside Business Park, the test centre is located within the first group of buildings on your right-hand side.

The centre is located on Cornmarket Street, just to the right-hand side of Roughan’s Hardware and Gift Shop.

The centre is inside a cream-coloured building and sits next door to Galway Accommodation Agency.

If arriving from the south, you’ll walk beyond Focus Ireland and an empty business unit on your way to the test centre. Alternatively, if approaching from the north via the Newpark Hotel, you should pass Lenehan’s pub, located around 50m from the venue.

The test venue is located next to Dunnes retail store.

The centre is located in a standalone grey building, positioned next door to O’Gorman and Cunningham Solicitors. It shares the site with the ‘People’ employment skills agency.

The test venue is located in the heart of the city centre, in close proximity to the River Shannon.

Please access the Longford Centre building via the main entrance, just to the left-hand side of its ‘Business Centre’. Tests take place on the first floor, in ‘Office 1’.

Please note that the site is located between Angel Blossoms flower shop and the Bon Bon mobile phone store.

Please be aware that the test centre is positioned between the ‘Beauty Box’ and ‘Classic Cuts’, roughly halfway along Castle Street.

The test centre itself is relatively small, so if travelling in a southbound direction, please keep your eyes peeled as you’re approaching the town centre from Sallins Road. If arriving from the South, please be aware that the centre is situated at the northern edge of the town centre. Given its central location, there are numerous eateries, hotels, and petrol stations nearby.

The centre is sandwiched between M. Hackett butchers and the Alvini vape shop.

The venue is located in a relatively large business and retail park called Kew-Lew. Therefore, some candidates have experienced difficulty in locating the test centre. We therefore encourage you to factor some additional time into your journey because of this.

Please note that the theory test centre can only be accessed via the Omni Shopping Centre entrance. The building opens at 9.30 am, so you’ll be unable to book a slot prior to this time.

The test centre resides in a white-bricked building and is positioned next door to E-PC Computer Sales & Repair store.

Please be aware that the test centre resides in a large, peach-coloured building, sandwiched between Shenanigans Café & Bar, and Malibu Tanning Studio.

The centre is approximately halfway along North Circular Road, and sandwiched between ‘CC’s dry cleaners’, and ‘Flowers by Ann’.

The test venue itself is located within Unit 14. Please access The Mall from the Columcille Street entrance, located on the right-hand side of Midland Travel.

The centre is housed in a modern-looking building and has a large ‘The Atrium’ sign on its frontage. The entrance is located next door to ‘Park Orthodontics’

The venue is located in between the ‘Brickz for Kidz’ store, and ‘Irish Home Minders’.

Please note that Wentworth Hall is a large, gated building with cream-coloured brickwork. Once arriving at Wentworth Place, it should be easy to identify.

The test centre is in a large blue building and is located next door to McCarthy’s Auto Centre.
